If I have a training day where I feel a bit tired or sore he zones right in on what might be up and tweaks the session we do together to ensure I accomplish while also remain safe.

    My goals of weight reduction have been achieved via our sessions and his nutrition guidance….my goals for increased strength and cardio as well as aerobic endurance/recovery have been achieved.   • I had the pleasure of playing rugby alongside the Zoobs for 7 seasons. Not only is he one of the most impressive athletes I’ve played with, he’s also one of the most impressive people. His attitude and perspective towards sport was something I always admired, and his work ethic was second to none.

    When I started with Adam over a year ago, I was in pain, couldn't lift my arms more than 6 inches high and I didn't enjoy going to the gym. I was not in a good place both mentally and physically. Adam took the time to sit down with me and figure out a game plan while giving me homework outside the gym. He has the experience of being a professional athlete and going through his own injuries to find the path forward with whatever you need.

    Adam's game plan for me was simple, I needed to get a team together with a chiropractor, athletic therapist, acupuncturist and together they would work to find out what was wrong. After my first appointments with my team we had a plan of action and Adam created a program for me. My program was starting from scratch and retraining my body in how I land, move and run. In this last year I went from doing very light workouts with no impact to now being able to run and do high impact activities without pain. Adam takes the time to explain the how and why you are doing the exercises he lays out for you which I liked because I was learning how my body moves and reacts to things. He completely changed the way I move, run and exercise.

    Mentally and physically I feel so much better and my recovery time is much quicker. I found a program that I love and I am seeing great results. Adam has helped me with my nutrition and worked with me to stay on the plan I am on as well as making sure I'm fueled enough for my workouts and hectic work schedule.. He personalized everything to make it work for me which is huge. He really listens to how you're feeling, where you're at and where you want to be.

    I can't thank him enough for how far I have come because truly had I not started training with him I don't know where I would be.   • My training with Adam has been awesome. He is very personable and has a lot of knowledge. I dragon boat in spring and summer and he gears some of my workouts with this in mind.

    We will work on cardio and strengthen muscles used for my particular sport to allow me to do my best. I never get bored because he constantly comes up with new things.

  • Having been in the fitness industry both as a trainer and as a client, I’m always a bit skeptical when making the decision to start training one on one. Adam absolutely changed that mind-set for me. I’ve never had a trainer so dedicated in seeing me progress quite like Adam.

  • I enjoy the personal training experience, but what I have learned is; not all trainers are equal. Adam has been exceptional to work with, he has created a training program specific to my needs and level of commitment, never to much but always enough to be progressing. Adam’s knowledge is endless, as is his experience in both fitness and sport. His attitude is fantastic, he is respectful of my time and my fitness level.     Recently, we have been working to remedy a historically difficult shoulder. On Adam’s recommendation and a result of his referral, I was able to see a top Physical Therapist in Victoria. Through their collaborative efforts, my shoulder and general posture have improved dramatically and are now to a point I once thought would not be achievable.

    It’s not always easy to get to the gym, life gets in the way as there is always some other “pressing” issue that I could easily attend to instead. However, I find training with Adam a welcome distraction and our sessions highlight my week’s calendar. I look forward to each one and always leave the gym in a better space than when I arrived.
